Local Life has been successfully marketing and promoting other businesses online and offline since 2004. Initially established from a high street location in Potters Bar we relocated to offices in Harlow in 2009. Local Life Broxbourne magazine was launched in April 2011 followed by Ware & Hertford magazine in June 2014.

Local Life Media covers all combined offline and online promotional marketing mediums including magazines, leaflet distribution, email marketing and social media engagement. We publish three magazines.
Local Life Broxbourne delivered to central Broxbourne and Hoddesdon.

Local Life Ware & Hertford delivered to Ware, Hertford and surrounding local areas.

Local Life Nazeing & Roydon delivered to Nazeing, Roydon and Dobbs Weir.

Your leaflet is distributed with up to 3 other non competing businesses or services.
We never deliver leaflets which compete against each other  i.e. 2 separate leaflets promoting 2 separate gyms for example.

Your leaflet will be delivered but itself with no other leaflets.

Local Life Leaflet Distribution was established in 2011 to offer leaflet distribution services to local businesses. Based in Harlow, Essex we deliver to most towns and large villages within a radius of approximately 10 miles of Harlow. Our distribution area covers Bishops Stortford to the north, Waltham Cross to the south, Hatfield to the west, and Dunmow to the east. Our office team are experienced marketing, media and distribution specialists with many years’ experience they can help you plan your targeted campaign.

We only use mature adults to distribute your marketing material. The vast majority of the adults we use to distribute leaflets are retired or semi retired and use leaflet distribution as a means of exercise. As a group we can deliver up to 10,000 leaflets in any one day.

Prior to starting each new distributor is given detailed tuition on what is required of them to achieve our exacting standards.

your leaflets are NEVER distributed with free newspapers. Most of our clients agree that free newspapers detract considerably from the impact of leaflets inserted in them. Not to be confused with our free full colour A5 magazines which are kept by householders for a month in the “Man Draw” until the next edition arrives.

We take great pride in our service and we have a clear and comprehensive approach to backchecking. During the course of your distribution, a member of our team will maintain contact with you and provide you with regular updates on the progress of your distribution.

We use various methods to check the leaflets have been delivered including:
1. Knocking on doors and asking residents.
2. Leaflet spies (local friends, family, business owners, distributors, advertisers etc)
3. The number of enquires we ourselves get for job applications or sometimes from our own marketing material.
4. Direct monitoring by our leaflet supervisors
5. Talking to you the customer and asking how many enquires you have had from your leaflet campaign.
6. Other methods

We require payment prior to your advert being published or your leaflets being designed or printed or delivered.

You are welcome to pay using BACS, CHAPS or Bank Transfer.

We accept Debit and Credit cards via telephone.

No!  You don’t need a graphic designer to design your leaflet. If you do not have your own leaflet design we will do this for you and will be included in the price quoted.

Absolutely not, we’d love to design, print and distribute your leaflets BUT if you have your own favourite designer or want to design your own, not a problem. Also if you have 1,000’s of leaflets gathering dust in an office cupboard we’d be more than happy to help you turn them into customers.

If you have your own artwork it can be submitted in any of the following formats. MS Word, MS Publisher, TIFF, JPG, High Resolution PDF, PSD or AI. Your artwork may have to be reset by us and the colours converted from RGB (Screen colours) to CMYK (Printing colours). Images need to be 300 dpi in order for your artwork to be printed in best resolution.

You must have consent to use any images, logos, copyright or trademarks.

Upon receipt of your confirmed booking, you can send your leaflets to us at our Harlow office. Alternatively, for a nominal fee, we will collect your leaflets from you – full details will be provided to you on receipt of your booking.

If you have your own leaflets we can organise distribution within a couple of days.

Usual turnaround time to design, print and start distributing your leaflets is about 7 to 10 working days. However, if you require a quicker turnaround please give us a call (01279 792 723) – depending on your requirements and our delivery slots, we may be able to organise things more quickly.

This will vary and will depend very much on your chosen distribution method and the scale of your project. We will be happy to discuss your requirements with you and provide you with an estimate of the likely timescales. Please note time sensitive material may incur a surcharge.

We can deliver up to 10,000 leaflets in a single day BUT should you require this service there would be a surcharge.
10,000 leaflets from start of distribution it will take approximately 5-10 working days dependent on weather conditions and staff availability to deliver your leaflet campaign.

Research by the Direct Marketing Association shows that:

  • 62-71% of consumers find leaflet information useful.
  • 48% have visited a store, bought a product or sent for information as a result of a leaflet campaign.
  • 79% keep, pass on, read or glance at leaflets.
